Your homepage copy should explain the problem you solve, not just describe your business.

Example callout box:
Instead of: “We provide innovative digital solutions for modern businesses.”
Say: “We help businesses turn more traffic into leads and customers with better websites, ads, and follow-up systems.”
2. Use the 7-second test
This is one of the simplest ways to judge whether your homepage is doing its job.
Show your homepage to someone who doesn’t know your business.
Give them 7 seconds.
Then ask them these 3 questions:

Why should someone care?

What should I do next?
If they can’t answer clearly, your homepage needs work.
That does not mean your business is bad.
It usually just means your message is too vague, too broad, or too buried.
